International Cooperation and Safeguarding Information Sharing

Our federation is committed to maintaining the highest standards of athlete safety and wellbeing. Safeguarding does not stop at national borders, and protecting athletes requires active cooperation across the international cheerleading community.

To ensure a safe environment for all participants, our federation works in ongoing collaboration with European and international cheerleading federations and governing bodies. Through this cooperation, we aim to promote transparency, accountability, and shared responsibility in safeguarding practices.

    Cross-Federation Safeguarding Collaboration

We actively communicate with partner federations to:

    • Share safeguarding best practices and prevention strategies

    • Promote consistent athlete protection standards across countries

    • Exchange relevant safeguarding information when appropriate and legally permitted

    • Support coordinated responses to safeguarding concerns involving international participants

    Preventing Risk Across Borders

Individuals who have been subject to safeguarding concerns, disciplinary action, or formal reports in another country may attempt to work or participate elsewhere. To reduce this risk, our federation:

    • Conducts safeguarding checks and due diligence before appointing coaches, staff, or officials

    • Maintains regular communication with recognized European and international federations

    • Seeks confirmation of safeguarding standing when engaging individuals from abroad

    • Acts on credible safeguarding information received from trusted partner organizations, in accordance with applicable data protection laws

This collaborative approach helps prevent individuals who may pose a risk from moving between countries without appropriate oversight.

    Commitment to Safe Participation

Our priority is always the safety of athletes — especially children and young people. By working closely with the international cheerleading community, we strengthen collective safeguarding systems and ensure that athlete protection remains consistent regardless of where activities take place.
